Welcome to the site of Social-globe.com
This site was created to give in depth knowledge on international and with that also intercultural work in the field of social sciences. I have created this website after I have looked for some information on the Internet about intercultural and international work and tools but did not find such a lot of websites with this specific information and topic of this. I am studying Social Welfare (Social Sciences) myself and have only just recently been to Asia (South Korea), where I could see the cultural struggle between the American and ancient Korean culture very clearly. During my time in Korea I have also studied the ancient and present culture and history of Asia, which will also be a very important topic on this website.
A research that just recently started on Street Children and violence will be published, too as well as the CRC, which most people will, I guess not know about. The CRC is the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which is so to say additional Human Rights for children and youths. It was invented in the year 1989 and was signed by almost all the countries in the world. Researches about Street Children and the CRC have not really shown as satisfying results as they should have done after twenty years of existence. I think it is very important to make such a Convention more public than it is at the moment. And to make sure these Rights are collected in one spot so they can be found easily. Next to the CRC there will be quite a variety of the most important rights on international issues referring to the life of humans published, to have all the rights not clustered but in one point collected.
Furthermore there will be a discussion forum online on this site for each of these topics. And there will also be a great variety on intercultural tools to be looked at.
I thank you already for your interest in this Website.
Best Regards
